Submitting audit reports

The Provider Regulation and Monitoring System (PRMS) is a web-based case management system which enables DAAs to:

  • submit audit reports
  • amend or edit audit reports after they’ve been uploaded
  • download audit reporting templates
  • find information on certified health and disability services providers.

PRMS automatically links relevant data, enhancing the accuracy of reporting and simplifying updates to audit details published on the Ministry of Health’s public website.

How to access the PRMS

DAA users can access the PRMS via the following URL: https:\\providerregulation.moh.health.nz

This URL must be accessed via the Connected Health Network. A login and password provided by the Ministry of Health are required.

If you are new to a role that needs to access the PRMS, please contact HealthCERT for support.

Please note:

  • To connect via the Connected Health Network, you may need to contact your DAA’s internal IT support team.
  • Licences are limited to DAA administrators and selected district managers with responsibilities for audits.
  • To request additional licences, complete the form on Information for Health New Zealand on certification and audits.
  • If a PRMS user is away for an extended period, a reliever account may be created, which must be requested at least one month before it is needed.
  • The PRMS uses a web browser: no special software is required.

Training and user guides

If you are a new user, we recommend you seek training from an existing PRMS user within your organisation. If not possible, training is available from HealthCERT on request.

The Ministry has prepared a series of short guides for DAA users of the PRMS:
