The Ministry of Health – Manatū Hauora Annual Report for the year ended 30 June 2025 summarises the Ministry’s progress towards our Strategic Intentions, and reports on our financial and non-financial performance for 2024/25, as required under the Public Finance Act 1989.

The Ministry of Health is legislatively required to produce an annual report each year. The Director-General of Health’s Annual Report is presented to the House of Representatives under section 44 of the Public Finance Act 1989.

Each year, the Director-General of Health publishes an Annual Report to Parliament that assesses the Ministry of Health's performance against objectives set at the beginning of the financial year. The Annual Report for the year ended 2018 contains the Ministry's achievements including the Ministry's financial and non-financial performance.

The Director-General of Health’s Annual Report is presented to the House of Representatives under section 44 of the Public Finance Act 1989. The annual report highlights the Ministry’s goals set out in its strategic documents and reports back on the activities undertaken to show how the Ministry is progressing to deliver on its strategic priorities and shows progress made against targets and outcomes for the 2016/2017 financial year.

The Director-General of Health’s Annual Report is presented it to the House of Representatives under section 44 of the Public Finance Act 1989. The report includes detail on the Ministry's financial and non-financial performance over the past year.
