The Annual Data Explorer presents results from the 2021/22 New Zealand Health Survey, with comparisons to earlier surveys where possible. Results are available by gender, age group, ethnic group, neighbourhood deprivation and disability status.

This quantitative report tracks progress against the indicators related to Pacific people’s health care utilisation in ʹAla Moʹui: Pathways to Pacific Health and Wellbeing 2014–2018. It includes indicators such as ambulatory sensitive hospitalisations, GP and nurse utilisation, heart and diabetes checks and access to mental health services. The report covers the period July 2016 to March 2017.

This report was commissioned by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment to inform cross-agency housing work in the context of crowding as a determinant of health. The report provides a description of household crowding in New Zealand using Census 2013 data.
