ʹAla Moʹui Progress Report – Pacific Child Health.

ʹAla Moʹui: Pathways to Pacific Health and Wellbeing 2014–2018 sets out the strategic direction to address health needs of Pacific peoples. The ʹAla Moʹui Progress Reports track progress in relation to the quantitative indicators outlined in ʹAla Moʹui.

The indicator results are presented at a national level (total New Zealand population and total Pacific population) and at a district health board level (by the DHBs with the largest Pacific populations).

These reports show areas where the health system is performing well for Pacific children and where further improvement is needed. It includes indicators such as newborn enrolment, B4 School Checks and immunisations. ʹAla Moʹui supports the Ministry of Health, DHBs and the wider health sector to identify and prioritise areas for national and local improvement in the provision of health services to Pacific peoples in New Zealand.

The report covers the period July 2016 to March 2017.
