The compliance guides below offer practical advice on how to meet specific radiation safety requirements under some of the radiation safety codes of practice. Codes of practice form part of the radiation safety requirements as set out in section 5 of the Radiation Safety Act 2016 (the Act).
While following the guides is not mandatory, doing so is generally considered sufficient to meet the associated radiation safety requirements. However, a person may also choose alternative approaches to meet the radiation safety requirements.
