The Ministry of Health yesterday issued a statement to the health sector regarding payments over the holiday period.
The Ministry incorrectly advised that the cut off time for claims being submitted for payment was 22 December. This should have read 23 December.
We acknowledge that this caused considerable concern and we sincerely apologise for the error. We have extended the period to accept claims till noon (12:00pm) tomorrow, 24 December, and will expedite the processing and payments of these claims.
We apologise and wish to take the opportunity to thank those in the health sector who continue to provide health services and care over the Christmas and holiday period.
