COVID-19 vaccinations and My Vaccine Pass

New Zealand’s vaccination rate has reached 95 percent for first doses and 93 percent for second doses. Tamariki who are 5 to 11-year-olds can now receive the COVID-19 vaccine and boosters are available for people 18 and over who have had two doses of COVID-19 vaccine at least four months ago. COVID-19 cases

There are active cases of COVID-19, predominantly in areas of the North Island. Anyone who returns a positive COVID-19 test is required to remain isolated or quarantined as directed (see Section 70).

Traffic lights

New Zealand has moved to the COVID-19 Protection Framework (traffic lights).

All of New Zealand is at Orange, except Northland which is at Red.

These settings will be reviewed 17 January 2022.
