COVID-19 vaccinations and My Vaccine Pass
New Zealand’s vaccination rate has reached 95 percent for first doses and 93 percent for second doses. Tamariki who are 5 to 11-year-olds can now receive the COVID-19 vaccine and boosters are available for people 18 and over who have had two doses of COVID-19 vaccine at least four months ago. There are active cases of COVID-19 in the community in both the North Island and the South Island. Anyone who returns a positive COVID-19 test is required to remain isolated or quarantined as directed (see Section 70).
