The Government Policy Statement on Health 2024-2027 (GPS) is a key accountability document that sets out the Government’s priorities, objectives and expectations for improving health outcomes for all New Zealanders, over the next three years.
The Cabinet paper seeks agreement to the attached Government Policy Statement on Health (GPS), which sets out priorities for improving health and mental health outcomes for 2024–2027. The briefing papers relate to the development of the GPS, including feedback from stakeholders, and plans for implementation of the GPS post launch in June 2024.
