Proactive release of Ministerial decision-making documents related to the Government’s response to the Inquiry into Mental Health and Addiction.
The Inquiry report – He Ara Oranga: Report of the Government Inquiry into Mental Health and Addiction – was presented to Government by the Inquiry Panel in November 2018. The Government formally responded to the recommendations of the independent Inquiry in May 2019.
Due to the high levels of public interest in mental health and addiction and the Government’s response to the Inquiry, the Ministry is releasing some key Ministerial decision-making documents.
