The INC developed the code in consultation with the Ministry. It applies to the manufacturers, marketers and distributors of infant formula. The INC is responsible for liaising with and educating the industry sector to ensure the INC Code of Practice is adhered to.
All health workers and other interested parties are encouraged to be aware of the content of the INC Code of Practice.
