Convened by the Public Health Agency, the group brings together health agencies, communities, and sector partners to strengthen relationships, align priorities, monitor progress, and support evidence-based action.
Members inform strategic priorities, monitor progress, mobilise resources, identify risks, and champion collaborative approaches across the sector.
The Steering Group is guided by four principles

- Community-driven: Valuing the voices and strengths of whānau and communities.
- Evidence-led: Grounding decisions in learning from experience.
