The purpose of this handbook is to state the Ministry of Health’s requirements of designated auditing agencies (DAAs) for auditing and audit reporting against the Health and disability services standard for the certification of health care services.

The Designated Auditing Agency Handbook also gives providers of health care services a guide to specific requirements for various types of audits.

This handbook is updated periodically.
