The New Zealand Clinical Guidelines for Stroke Management 2010, referred to throughout this document as "the guidelines", provides a series of evidence-based recommendations related to recovery from stroke and TIA to assist decision-making, and is based on the best evidence available at the time of development.
The guidelines provide guidance on appropriate, evidence-based practice, to support clinical judgment that takes into account the preferences of the person with stroke and their family/whānau.
