Summary
This report provides an overview of health workforce development in New Zealand since 2000.
It is intended to be a resource to assist those with an interest in health workforce development to understand current issues and approaches to dealing with health workforce development.
It also indicates the directions needed to respond to the new demands for health and disability support workers in the future.
