Below are a range of training opportunities and resources to support health and disability service providers, health professionals, Designated Auditing Agencies (DAAs), and the people and whānau who use these services in implementing the Ngā Paerewa Health and Disability Services Standard (NZS 8134:2021).

eLearning modules

HealthCERT has developed two free eLearning modules in partnership with the sector and Te Apārangi: Māori Partnership Alliance (Te Apārangi). These modules focus on cultural safety and the application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi within Ngā Paerewa.

  1. Te Tiriti o Waitangi Introduction Module: A high-level overview of Te Tiriti requirements in Ngā Paerewa, ideal for anyone seeking foundational knowledge of Te Tiriti and its relevance in the health and disability sector.
  2. Culturally Responsive Care Module: Designed for senior leaders and frontline staff, this module supports the delivery of culturally safe care, particularly for whānau Māori.
