Manatū Hauora - Ministry of Health consulted widely with consumer and whānau groups throughout Aotearoa during 2021 and 2022.
This report sets out the voices of Māori, Pacific peoples and tangata whaikaha and their experiences when accessing pharmacy services. This report captures suggestions for service improvements. It is important that consumers’ needs are prioritised when planning, commissioning and delivering pharmacy services. There is a chance that we can work together for service re-design to meet the expectations of whānau and to enhance the primary health care for the benefit of all New Zealanders.
