Overview

The Ministry of Health is seeking your views on the process, and its associated documents, developed for the Pacific Provider Development Funds (PPDF) from 2021/22.

The process follows on the recommendations from the review of PPDF conducted in 2018. A full copy of the PPDF review can be accessed at Review of the Ministry of Health Pacific Provider Development Fund 2018.

In line with the recommendations from the Review, the Ministry wants to develop a process to distribute PPDF that:

  • is fair and transparent
  • is flexible
  • meets the needs of Pacific health providers
  • will benefit Pacific communities receiving health services
  • is high trust
  • is long term.
