Summary

Following the 2020 general election, the Ministry of Health | Manatū Hauora produced a briefing to the incoming Minister of Health, as is usual practice.

Part A of this document describes the strategic context and current state of the health and disability system and the medium-term focus areas to meet the challenges of the

future and to achieve the long-term vision of pae ora – healthy futures for all people in New Zealand.
