Updated regional data from the New Zealand Health Survey has been released, which provides information on the health and wellbeing of adults and children across New Zealand.
Regional Data Release: New Zealand Health Survey
The data presents key health indicators using a three‑year rolling average, which improves reliability for regional and local‑level analysis. Results are available for a range of geographic areas, including health regions, district health boards, regional councils, iwi Māori partnership boards, and rural–urban classifications. Within each area, data can be explored by age, gender, ethnic group, disability status, and neighbourhood deprivation.

The regional data is intended to support planning, monitoring, and analysis, and should be interpreted alongside the guidance provided on the webpage.
