Regulation of the Physician Associate profession under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003

This Regulatory Impact Statement was prepared to inform Cabinet’s consideration of a proposal to regulate the physician associate profession under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 and for the profession to be added to the professions in respect of which the Medical Council of New Zealand is appointed.
