This Cabinet material sets out Cabinet's approval of two priority Health infrastructure projects - the Interim Inpatient Bed Capacity Programme and the Palmerston North Asset Remediation Programme. The intent of these projects is to maintain and develop physical and digital infrastructure to support New Zealanders' current and future health needs. The Interim Inpatient Bed Capacity Programme directly supports the Government's health target of shorter stays in emergency departments.
