This Cabinet material sets out the approval for the introduction of an Amendment Paper to the Medicines Amendment Bill.  The Amendment Paper gives effect to the subsequent policy decisions providing for a specific exemption to the current prohibition on advertising of unapproved medicines for medical conferences and associated trade shows.
