The Government’s 100-day plan included a commitment to “Repeal amendments to the Smokefree Environments and Regulated Products Act 1990 and regulations”. These papers began the process to fulfil that commitment by progressing amendments to the Smokefree Environments and Regulated Products Act 1990, the Smokefree Environments and Regulated Products (Smoked Tobacco) Amendment Act 2022 and to related regulations.
