Facebook chat
Once a month, Plunket hosts a live Facebook chat for parents to ask questions on that month’s special topic. The chats take place on the first Tuesday of the month and cover a different topic each month – from moving on from nappies to oral health, the importance of play or introducing solids.

The face behind the phone
PlunketLine and Maori TV have joined forces to create a number of ads featuring some of PlunketLine’s own nurses to help put a face to the voice on the phoneline.
The key message is ‘anyone can ring PlunketLine’. Parents or caregivers, you don’t have to be enrolled with Plunket and we are here to help you 24/7 free from landline or mobile.
You can watch the ads on YouTube.
Bilingual service
PlunketLine works closely with Language Line to ensure there are translators to hand if needed.
We also have Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), Māori and Samoan nurses who are available to assist clients in their first language.
