About us
Te Kotuku Hauora O Rangitikei Joint Iwi Health Iniative was established in 1997 as the health and social services provider for the Māori population living within the Southern Rangitikei. Iwi involved were Ngāti Apa, the contract holder, and Ngāti Hauiti. In 2000 Ratana Health and Social Services contracts were transferred to Te Kotuku.
On 1 July 2012 Te Kotuku Hauora Limited was established as a separate Ngāti Apa entity, with its own governance. Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Apa remains as the administration base.
