The clinic can do blood tests, swabs and ultrasound in-house.

Medical termination is available Monday to Friday. Surgical termination only available one day a week.

Counselling is an integrated part of all pregnancy-related services. The primary providers are midwife-counsellors.

We also provide free long acting contraception, oral contraceptives and the contraceptive injection depo provera.

Patient information / what to expect

You will have an initial consultation, which usually lasts 30 minutes. If it's appropriate you'll get all the necessary screens and treatments then. Otherwise we'll make a further appointment with you.


The Community Clinic provides free abortion services and related counselling services to any pregnant person who is eligible for publicly funded health care.
