The second annual Cancer Nurse Coordinator Initiative (CNCI) evaluation report draws on a wider range of data sources than the 2014 report and the data quality is improved.
This report shows that the CNCI has evolved over the last two years and different CNCI models have been adopted across DHBs to:
- meet differing population needs within existing cancer care pathways
- strengthen and integrate with the existing cancer workforce.
The final evaluation report will be available in mid-2016.
