Human Rights and the Mental Health (Compulsory Assessment and Treatment) Act 1992 provides guidance on how to think about and apply human rights, recovery approaches and supported decision-making when implementing the current Mental Health (Compulsory Assessment and Treatment) Act 1992 (the Mental Health Act).
