In 2011 the Health and Independence Report (the Director-General of Health’s Annual Report on the State of Public Health) was published as part of the Ministry's Annual Report for the Year Ended 30 June 2011.
The Health and Independence report looks at:
- the public funds that are allocated to health and disability support services in New Zealand
- the workforce underpinning the sector
- the services that are delivered
- how those services are contributing to the health and independence of New Zealanders.
