The Health and Independence Report is the Director-General of Health’s Annual Report on the State of Public Health. In 2010 it was published as part of the Ministry's Annual Report for the Year Ended 30 June 2010.
The Health and Independence Report looks at:
- the public funds which are allocated to health and disability support services in New Zealand
- the workforce underpinning the sector
- the services that are delivered
- what those services are achieving by way of their contribution to the health and independence of New Zealanders.
