The Ministry of Health led a strategic review of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003. The review assessed how the operation of the Act could be improved, including how to protect public safety in a changing health environment, and how to support the development of New Zealand's health workforce now and in the future.
The closing date for submissions was Friday, October 26, 2012.
