Information for Te Whatu Ora on certification and audits

Information on certified health and disability services providers, along with the results of audits can be accessed via the Provider Regulation and Monitoring System (PRMS).

HealthCERT is currently reviewing the way Te Whatu Ora public hospitals are certified under the Health and Disability Services (Safety) Act 2001 and against the Ngā paerewa Health and disability services standard (NZS 8134:2021).

The updated framework is planned to be approved for use in July 2024, at which time an indicative date for implementation of the new framework will be communicated to the sector. In the meantime, you are welcome to email [email protected] for further detail.

Access to the PRMS

If you work for a designated auditing agency (DAA) or Te Whatu Ora and require access to the PRMS please use the following form to request an ID for accessing the PRMS:

Te Whatu Ora users of the PRMS can access the system via the following URL: https://providerregulation.moh.health.nz/navigator/

Note that this URL has to be accessed via the Connected Health Network and the user will need a login and password provided by the Ministry.

To connect to the PRMS via the Connected Health Network you will need to contact Te Whatu Ora’s internal IT support.
