The Ministry of Health is commissioning an independent review of MPDS that includes both funding streams of MPDS: Māori Provider Development and the Hauora Māori Scholarships.
The review will seek input from Tumu Whakarae, and selected groupings of Māori health and disability providers, national Māori health and disability providers, national Māori health professional organisations, and Hauora Māori Scholarship recipients, who received MPDS grant funding for the year 2019/20.
The review will commence May 2019 and be completed by end of November 2019.
