Development of national prescribing guidance
A team of clinicians and researchers are working collaboratively across the motu to merge the guidelines below into a single prescribing standard to support safe, effective and equitable antimicrobial use for Aotearoa New Zealand. Some initial information on this and other related projects:

Guidance for hospital prescribing
Regional antimicrobial treatment guidance is available online and via mobile phone applications.
If you work in Northland, Auckland, Waitemata and Counties Manukau District Health Boards (DHBs) regions, you can download the Script App. Note: these links will also take you to the Starship paediatric developed guidance when it is launched.
If you work in Whanganui, Capital & Coast, Wairarapa and Hutt Valley DHB regions, you can download the Empiric App.
