Draft child developmental service and general paediatrics SNOMED CT subset for National Patient Flow

A draft SNOMED subset has been developed for general paediatrics and child developmental services to support more consistent reporting in the National Patient Flow (NPF) collection and is now available for public comment. This process provides an opportunity for those interested to review and comment on this subset.      

The subset identifies the most common clinical terms for reason for referral, signs/symptoms, procedures (performed in outpatient settings), along with working and confirmed diagnosis.

The annual SNOMED CT Expo brings together governments officials, health IT professionals, health practitioners, researches, academics and vendors from around the world. The event offers an oportunity to network with like-minded people and showcase the latest in digital health. A program of lectures and tutorial sessions enables participants to learn about the global language of health care and its recent developments.

The SNOMED Expo is hosted by a differrent Member country each year. Recent Expos have taken place in Uruguay, New Zealand and last year in Slovakia.

SNOMED CT Expo 2018 is being organised by SNOMED International in collaboration with Canada Health Infoway to be held from 18 to 19 October 2018 in Vancouver, Canada.

It will be a great opportunity to hear from international and local peers about their experience of using SNOMED CT through the presentations.

The Expo will showcase the latest achievements and cutting-edge thinking in semantic interoperability, presented by thought leaders from around the globe.
