    Manatū Hauora – the Ministry of Health has published the Registrar (assisted dying) Annual Report to the Minister of Health, covering the period from 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2023.

    The End of life Choice Act 2019 became law on 7 November 2021.

  • New assisted dying health service established

    Publication date:

    The assisted dying service has been formed as part of the implementation of the End of Life Choice Act 2019. It is a new health service in New Zealand, available to some people with a terminal illness who are nearing the end of their lives.
