Ambulance Service Level Collaboration

The Ambulance Service Level Collaboration is a forum that brings together the three main funders of ambulance services – the Ministry of Health, ACC and all DHBs.

Its goal is to ensure ambulance services are patient-focused, sustainable and integrated. It focuses on the performance of ambulance services, how integration can be improved across boundaries, and between primary, community and hospital systems and services, and how the organisations can better share information.

The Collaboration maintains visibility of a joint programme of work related to government-funded ambulance services, and it is able to make recommendations on specific projects or on the programme as a whole.

Regular updates

Following meetings of the Collaboration, an update is provided to NASO and shared here.
