The Director-General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield leads a background briefing today at 1.00pm to update and provide more detail on the COVID-19 vaccine rollout plan.
This will include information about COVID-19 vaccine supply and the role of primary care in the rollout, including general practices, community pharmacies, urgent care clinics, and Māori hauora.
Dr Bloomfield will be joined by Dr Samantha Murton, president of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners.
