Health and Independence reports

The Health and Independence reports look at the public funds that are allocated to health and disability support services in New Zealand, the workforce underpinning the sector, the services that are delivered and what those services are achieving.

    The Health and Independence Report 2007 combines the Minister’s report to Parliament on progress on implementing the New Zealand Health Strategy with the Director-General of Health’s report to Parliament on the state of the public health.
  • Published 02 November 2006
    The Annual Report of the Director of Mental Health 2005 provides a record of the work the office. The report reflects the importance of transparency and accountability to the sector and the wider public. It is divided into three sections.
