- The Ministry’s Equipment and Modification Services provide free or subsidised equipment and modifications to people with disabilities. Read more
- The Ministry’s Hearing and Vision Services provide free or subsidised equipment to people with disabilities, such as hearing aids, cochlear implants and spectacles. Read more
- Behaviour Support Services work with a disabled person and their support network to reduce the impact of a person’s challenging behaviour. Read more
- Child Development Services provide early intervention for preschool children who have disabilities or are not achieving developmental milestones. Read more
- Community day services help disabled adults who can’t find work to take part in their community and improve their personal skills by providing access to regular meaningful social contact and stimulating activities. Read more
- Community Residential Support Services assist disabled people to live in a supported community environment. Read more
- Home and Community Support Services are Ministry-funded services that help disabled people to live at home. They can provide help with household management and personal care. Read more
- Individualised Funding is a way of paying for Home and Community Support Services which lets disabled people directly manage the resources they are allocated for disability supports. Read more
- Respite services and carer support help full-time caregivers of disabled people take some time out for themselves, while ensuring the disabled person continues to get the care and support they need. Read more
- Supported Living is a service that helps disabled people to live independently by providing support in those areas of their life where help is needed. Read more
- Disability Information Advisory Services provide information and/or advice to disabled people, their families, whānau, aiga, caregivers, providers and the general public. Read more
