Māori Provider Development Scheme (MPDS): 2012/13 purchasing intentions
Published online:
03 May 2012
MPDS 2012/13 Purchasing Intentions informs Maori health and disability providers and national Maori organisations what the priorities are. It also confirms the funding allocated per stream and the release of the Hauora Maori Scholarships (HMS).
This year, the Ministry will invest in the implementation of the Maori Provider Capacity Assessment Tool (MPCAT). The tool is a self assessment instrument that helps Maori providers identify capacity strengths and indicates areas for further development.
Information provided within the MPCAT will assist both the Ministry of Health and Maori health providers to determine the appropriate investment required.
