In 2014 the Health and Independence Report (the Director-General of Health’s Annual Report on the State of Public Health) was published as part of the Ministry's Annual Report for the year ended 30 June 2014.
The Health and Independence Report provides an overview of the current state of public health in the following areas: health system performance, changing health needs, non-communicable diseases (NCDs), risk factors for NCDs, and infectious diseases.
