16 Jun: Medicines Care Guides for Residential Aged Care

23 Sep: GST change - Fee Increase Announcement (Word, 32 KB)
From 1 October 2010 all licences issued by Medicines Control will be increased to reflect the increase in GST. Please see the table below.
17 Aug: APC Requirement Announcement (PDF, 132 KB)
The Licensing Authority is implementing a new requirement whereby the majority shareholder pharmacist(s) in a company owning a pharmacy must hold a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC). The attached letter was sent out to all community pharmacies on 12 August 2010.
This change will take effect from 1 September 2010 for all applications for a new pharmacy or change of ownership. From 1 April 2011, all applications for a Licence to Operate Pharmacy from currently licensed pharmacies must meet this new requirement.
