Published 25 March 2011Te Rōpū Rangahau Hauora a Eru Pōmare (University of Otago, Wellington) and seven community group partners identify research priorities to lead to improved oral health for Māori and reduced inequalities, with particular reference to low income Māori adults, older Māori, and Māori with disabilities, special needs or who are medically compromised.

Published 02 March 2011This report presents findings of the 2007 Māori Oral Health Providers Project. The project comprised five Māori health providers receiving one-off Ministry funding to deliver oral health services. Four providers built Mobile Dental Units and one provider developed a two-chair static clinic. The providers then signed contracts with DHBs for the support and delivery of new oral health services and/or to maintain or expand their existing oral health services.
