Recent updates from the Violence Intervention Programme (VIP).

1 Oct 2010: 17th International Conference of the Nursing Network on Violence Against Women. Participants from across the health disciplines as well as from government, non-government and community organisations are welcome.

May 2010: The Statement of Intent sets the strategic scene in which the Ministry will operate over the next three to five years. The VIP contributes to the achievement of the Ministry’s Statement of Intent 2010–2013, outcome 1: Good health and independence are protected and promoted through ‘He Korowai Oranga, and also child mortality/family violence work in keeping with the Government’s response to family violence’.

26 Feb 2010: New website – Family Violence Death Review Committee (FVDRC).
