This guideline is for users and providers of mental health and addiction services for older people, and dementia services for people of any age. It is designed to encourage good practice, achieve greater consistency in the quality of services and the way they are delivered between
DHBs, and help DHBs make the best use of their existing funding by providing cost-effective models of care.
