Pandemic influenza legislation

New Zealand has been planning for a pandemic for some time.

The Ministry is working with the health sector and other Government agencies to ensure New Zealand is as prepared as possible for a potential pandemic.

New Zealand's pandemic planning includes the Epidemic Preparedness Act 2006 and other amendment acts.
