NCAMP 2013 questions and answers

Answers to questions that are asked about the National Collections Annual Maintenance Project.

If you have any questions regarding this project please contact the NCAMP Project Team at ncamp@moh.govt.nz

Q. Can you clarify that ‘…processed through compliance…’ means that we (the DHBs) simply deposit the files in the same prod pick-up folder as usual and you (the MoH DMS) team will pick them up and process them in your compliance environment first?

A. As previously stated, there will be no formal scripted testing for NCAMP however all first production files will be processed through compliance first. Some NMDS submitters have raised the question of how to submit their first production file post NCAMP 13 implementation. It would be appreciated if submitters could place their first production files as notated below:

NMDS: Placed in compliance/nmds folder (eg compliance/nmds folder) with TEST in the file header

NBRS: Placed in compliance/nbrs folder (eg compliance/nbrs folder) with CMPL in the file header

NNPAC: Placed in the nnpac/COMPLIANCE folder

PRIMHD: Same location as PROD, but prefix file with 'COMP_' (eg COMP_PE20130605__.zip)

We appreciate this may be difficult for some organisations and they should contact Data Management Services in the normal manner to seek further direction.

Q. Will there be compliance scripts issued for NCAMP 2013

A. Although there will be no formal compliance scripts issued for NCAMP13, all files received with events with a date later than (and including) 1 July 2013 will be processed through compliance. Any NNPAC, NBRS, or NMDS file with an error percentage of 5% or higher will be returned to the DHB for correction before loading into Production. Full compliance will only be awarded to a DHB if their production files achieve a less than 5% error rate.

Additionally, no DHB will be awarded full NBRS compliance until a satisfactory match rate percentage (95% or higher) is achieved when comparing the NBRS exit treated date with the date of procedure in the NMDS.

Although there will be no formal compliance scripts issued for NCAMP13, all PRIMHD files received on or after 1 July 2013 will be processed through compliance. Any PRIMHD file with an error percentage of 2% or higher will be returned to the DHB/NGO for correction before loading into Production. Full compliance will only be awarded to a DHB/NGO if their production files achieve a less than 2% error rate.
